About the Artist: Aska Yamaguchi
Biography I was born and grew up in Japan and Came to the U.S.A to enroll the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1997. My special interests are printmaking and painting. I heve been working as an assistant to a Baltimore local printmaker since 1999. I am also having a group show at the Resurgam Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland this June. I am currently in my senior year at the college, graduating this May. I am hoping to find printmaking related jobs in the West Coast.
Artist Statement For these monoprints : Graffiti, Snow garden, River and Black forest, I worked intuitively try not think much but I followed where it took.

Assistant for a local established printmaker  Baltimore, MD
Created editions of prints, printed inventory of editions of etchings and engravings .
Cleaned and organized the plates and prints.
Assisted to organize the artist's show.Ø Photographed, filmed and edited the film of process of  printing.

The School Community Safety Baltimore, MDDesk Assistant.
Controlled the safety of school buildings.
Provided school vehicles to students.
Cooperated with local police.
